I've had this version crash twice. neither while I was at the computer, but after I'd gone AFK and came back after several hours, it had crashed, it was sending a report to Apple, and did I want to reopen the program? (I did).

Also, I'm getting these errors at the top of the screen as it connects..
[ ERROR ] cannot find Lua module rex_pcre. Some functions may not be available.no error message available from Lua
[ OK ] - Lua module zip loaded
[ ERROR ] cannot find Lua module lfs (Lua File System).no error message available from Lua

Hey, found a bug. Turn the font size up and select text. The display wiggs out. Dunno how you're going to test this without a mac, but I'll help in any way I can. You have my email.

Macbook Pro 17"
OSX 10.6.6
Mudlet 2.0 RC6

It seems likely now that OSX is being very buggy with reporting glyph sizes...

What language is the mac client written in? Is it a native port?

Mudlet is written in C++. I'll post a new package later tonight that might fix the screen issues that some people experience - note that most users have no problems with the display.

The next version will use OSX 10.4 as build target whereas the previous versions were build against Snow Leopard.
This means that Mudlet should run on both PPC and Intel machines from OSX 10.4 up to the very latest Snow Leopard.

It's written in C++ using QT libraries for cross platform capabilities.

Oh, cool. I've written Qt apps before. if I get the chance I might take a stab at the source code and fix some of those bugs.

I have OX 10.6.7 - 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (2008 model iMac). 4GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM. This is from the "About my Mac" screen. Does that give you the info you need?

also, those ERRORs I reported did NOT show up when I connected later that day after I wrote the other note. just FYI.
