Wow, that was something! I had expected more of a fuss from the upgrade process.
The server software is always on the move. Our next big upgrade seems just over the horizon, around the year 2023.

Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the quick reply form, might just have been a stale cache issue. If you managed to post just on the cusp of the last cron run, it would take about 5 minutes for the page to be cleared from cache and rebuilt.
