Re: Howto: Sync profiles using dropbox
For some reason, I can't seem to get this to work on my new laptop. The weird thing is, it worked just fine on my old laptop. All the machines have Windows 10. But, every time I try to make the make-link, it gets written over when I start Mudlet again. Sadly, I can't access the old laptop right now ...

Re: What's the status of the copy + paste bug?
Hi! Sorry about your problem. This hasn't been an issue for a long while, and we haven't had anyone mention that it is either. How can we reproduce the problem? Are you selecting the text and right-clicking, then doing 'Copy'? Happens whether I right + click and copy or use ctrl + C, both of them w...

What's the status of the copy + paste bug?
It might be silly, but this bug is BY FAR the most annoying bug I run into with Mudlet. I can log things just fine, but sometimes you just want to grab a recent snipped of information. When the copy + paste fails, several times in a row, you're beginning to waste valuable game time. I'm running the ...

Pop-up Mini-Windows?
I was talking to Jor'Mox about whether or not we could create mini-windows that were draggable and closeable with an "X" in the upper right-hand corner. Could even do a resize bit in the lower right-hand corner. There are Mudlet functions there to support it, but, when I mentioned using th...

Re: Grabbing info for HP guage
Unless there's a Threshold player here, you're going to need to ask someone from the Threshold community. I don't know much about atcp, but gmcp is a way for the client (Mudlet) and the MUD (Threshold) to communicate with one another without showing up on your screen. Which means that your client ne...

Re: Weird stuffs?
I'm sorta new at Mudlet, but I was a longtime zMud player -- but I'm coming back to muds after over a decade. And, to be honest, I typically play when I'm a bit not sober, so please inform me if I'm just missing something completely obvious. It can be an intimidating change. But, Mudlet is better, ...

Re: Why does Mudlet forget "windowed" size?
The code to track the main application window size is not as thorough as I think it can be (and the corresponding code for the editor less so - that also stores the position and size but does not notice that it could be working with multiple profiles, each with their OWN editor!) From what I recall...

Why does Mudlet forget "windowed" size?
Edit: Video Something I've found from both Mudlet 2.1 and the current 3.0e is that if I choose to "maximize" Mudlet's window, when I try to drop it back into "Restore Down" mode, it basically goes to a size similar to maximized, but movable. I'm using Windows 10. While not a cri...
